Antifascist Action in the Czech Republic is calling all antifascist to an anti-Nazi demo organized by Iniciativa Brno Blokuje (Brno Blockade Initiative) on June 26 in Brno, Czech Republic. On that day, Brno will be the place of second anti-immigration demonstration in a series of hateful events organized by neo-Nazis. On the same day, a huge festival of nationalist-socialist black metal bands will take place where bands connected to paramilitary fascist organization The Right Sector that operates in Ukraine will play. Neo-Nazis aim to use the anti-refugee hysteria in the months of stagnation to stop their political decline. That is why it is crucial to gather as many people as possible on the antifascist counter-demonstration.
This Saturday (June 20), a demonstration took place in Bratislava in which 5,000 neo-Nazis, ultranationalists and racist hooligans gathered, with almost no support from general public. Demonstration received a massive support from neo-Nazis from Poland, Czech Republic and also other Central European countries. 140 neo-Nazis were detained and half of them were Czech citizens.

An event organized by neo-Nazis for neo-Nazis was like a dream come true and a manifestation of power of neo-Nazi movement that has been stagnating lately in Slovakia. The most important names of Slovak neo-Nazi and ultranationalist scene spoke on the demonstration. The chairman of Ľudová strana Naše Slovensko (The People’s Party Our Slovakia) Marian Kotleba, the main star of the event, welcomed the crowd with a wish of a “clear white day”. Marián Magát, the head of neo-Nazi paramilitary group Vzdor Kysuce (The Resistance of Kysuca), unveiled the “true cause” of the crisis: “It is not the Syrians’ or Libyans’ fault that they have to run away. It is Israel’s fault.” Czech scene was represented by the vice-chairman of Dělnická strana (Worker’s Party) Jiří Froněk from Karlovy Vary who is also an activist of Národní Odpor Karlovarsko (National Resistance – Karlovy Vary region) and one of the main links to German neo-Nazi scene. Masked football hooligans interrupted an international bike race and attacked the crowd of fans watching the race, including families with children. And finally, what a surprise, drunk Nazis attacked a family with a baby in a pushchair and a journalist that was standing nearby. The Slovak police didn’t manage, despite the massive police operations, to stop neo-Nazis, often drunk, from attacking people of color and made a lot of effort to discourage human rights activists and antifascists from attending the protest march, which influenced the number of people attending it that didn’t reach the promising number in the public event on social media.
Second demonstration of this series is planned for June 26 in Brno. Brno neo-Nazi scene is running a massive mobilization campaign. The reason for this is simple – neo-Nazis in Brno were humiliated a couple weeks ago when they were vastly outnumbered by citizens of Brno who came to block neo-Nazi march on May 1st . The demonstration titled “We don’t want refugees in Czech Republic” is organized by Dělnická strana sociální spravedlnosti (DSSS, Worker’s Party of Social Justice) and its youth organization Dělnická mládež (Worker’s Youth). The main organizer is Erik Lamprecht, vice-chairman of Dělnická strana and chairman of Dělnická mládež.

Erik Lamprecht is a neo-Nazi who is active for a very long time and he is the second important link between the Worker’s Party and German neo-Nazi scene. The Worker’s Party is trying to reclaim its position by all means. On June 16, a delegation from Worker’s Party (chairman Vandas, vice-chairmans Štěpánek and Lamprecht, and party’s member Libor Sojka) took part in a meeting of Alliance for Peace and Freedom (APF) in the European Parliament in Brussels. DSSS officially became a member of APF when all the delegates present voted for the acceptance of DSSS into the Alliance. Erik Lamprecht therefore got a chance to shake hands with such allstars of international neo-Nazi scene as Udo Voigt, member of European Parliament for NPD and a former chairman of NPD, Nick Griffin, chairman of British National Party, Georgios Epitideios, member of European Parliament for the Greek Golden Dawn party, Roberto Fiore, chairman of APF and a chairman of Italian party Forza Nuova (New Power), Jens Pühse, general secretary of APF, Daniel Carlsen, chairman of Danskernes Parti (Danish Party) and many others.

The third dimension will be added on June 26 in Brno by a cultural event that is almost always a part of the bigger events organized by DSSS. On this day, in the car centre Obora, a much-awaited national-socialist black metal festival Hell Fast Attack is going to start. We recently published a whole article about it. The festival is headlined by legendary NSBM band Nokturnal Mortum from Ukraine that often plays on events of neo-Nazi paramilitary organization Right Sector and supports neo-Nazi and ultranationalist volunteers fighting side by side with pro-Russian separatists in East Ukraine.

Immigrants are running away from their countries, running away from war and poverty. National, religious or ethnic hatred, power struggles, wars for resources and money are the reasons that chase them out from their homes. War and hatred didn’t just fall out from the sky – there are causes as well as victims connected to them. There is not a single reason to listen to fascists and Nazis. Their “solutions” always brought destruction and despair. Their mythical construct of a unified nation, either based on culture or race, and their lack of empathy always missed a very important fact – the diversity of human kind. There is also not a single reason to fear Nazis. Quite the opposite – there are many reasons to stand up to them when they once again feel that the social situation is in their favor and they feel like they might win the streets back after a long time.

Die Antifaschistische Aktion in Tschechien ruft alle AntifaschistInnen auf, am 26. Juni nach Brno/Tschechien zu einer Anti-Nazi Demo der Iniciativa Brno Blokuje (Brno blockiert Initiative) zu kommen. An diesem Tag soll Brno zum Schauplatz der zweiten Anti-Imigrations-Demonstration in einer Serie von Neonazis organisierter Hass-Events werden. Am gleichen Tag soll außerdem ein großes Festival mit nationalsozialistischen Bands stattfinden, darunter auch solche Bands, die Verbindungen zur paramilitärischen faschistischen Organisation „Der Rechte Sektor“ unterhalten, der in der Ukraine operiert. Nach Monaten der Stagnation und des Niedergangs wollen die Nazis von der antimuslimischen und Anti-Refugee Hysterie profitieren und sich auf der politischen Bühne zurückmelden. Es ist ausgesprochen wichtig, dem von Anfang an mit einer massiven Präsenz am Freitag in Brno entgegenzutreten. Sonst werden weitere Aktionen folgen.
Am letzten Samstag den 20. Juni fand eine Demonstration von 5000 Neonazis, Ultranationalisten und rechten Hooligans in Bratislava (Slowakei) statt, fast komplett ohne Unterstützung aus der Bevölkerung. Stattdessen erfuhr die Demonstration jedoch massive Unterstützung von Neo-Nazis aus Polen, Tschechien und anderen mitteleuropäischen Ländern. 140 Nazis wurden im Verlauf der Demo festgenommen, die Hälfte von ihnen waren tschechische Staatsbürger.
Dieser Aufmarsch gegen Migranten und den Islam war die größte Demonstration von Ultranationalisten und Neonazis in der modernen Geschichte des slowakischen Staates. Es war ein Event, organisiert von Nazis für Nazis. Für sie wurde mit der Demonstration ein Traum wahr, es war eine Machtdemonstration der Neonazi-Bewegung die in der Slowakei in letzter Zeit eigentlich stagnierte. Anwesend waren und gesprochen haben auf der Demonstration die wichtigsten „Namen“ der slowakischen Neonazi-Szene: Der Vorsitzende der Ľudová strana Naše Slovensko
(Volkspartei Unsere Slowakei) Marian Kotleb, der prominenteste Redner der Demonstration, begrüßte die Menge mit dem Wunsch nach einem „klaren weissen Tag“. Marián Magát, Kopf der paramilitärischen Neonazigruppe Vzdor Kysuce (Widerstand Kysuce), „enthüllte“ den „wahren Grund der Krise“: “Es ist nicht die Schuld der Syrer oder der Libyer das sie flüchten müssen, es ist Israels Schuld“. Die tschechische Naziszene war vertreten durch den Vize-Vorsitzenden der Dělnická strana (Arbeiterpartei), Jiří Froněk aus Karlovy Vary, der auch Aktivist des Národní Odpor Karlovarsko (Nationaler Widerstand – Region Karlovy Vary) ist und eine der Hauptverbindungen zur deutschen Neonazi-Szene. Vermummte Fussball-Hooligans störten ein internationales Radrennen und attackierten die Zuschauer, Familien mit Kindern eingeschlossen.
Und schlussendlich, was für eine Überraschung, attackierten betrunkene Nazis eine Familie mit einem Baby im Kinderwagen und einen in der Nähe stehenden Journalisten. Die slowakische Polizei konnte die Nazis nicht
kontrollieren, trotz massivem Kräfteaufgebot war sie unfähig, die oft betrunkenen Neonazis davon abzuhalten People of Color zu attackieren. Vielmehr steckte sie viel Energie in ihre Bemühungen, MenschenrechtsaktivistInnen und AntifaschistInnen davon abzuhalten, eine Protestdemonstration zu besuchen und so erreichte deren Teilnehmerzahl
nicht die viel versprechende Anzahl der Zusagen des Social-Media Events zur Demo.
Eine Fortsetzung dieser Demonstration ist nun für den 26. Juni in Brno (Tschechien) geplant. Die Neonazi-Szene von Brno mobilisiert massiv. Der Grund ist einfach: Die Nazis wurden in Brno vor einigen Wochen gedemütigt, als sie zahlenmässig von den EinwohnerInnen der Stadt um ein vielfaches übertroffenen wurden, die am 1. Mai einen versuchten Neonazi-Aufmarsch blockierten. Die jetzige Demonstration unter dem Titel „Wir wollen keine Refugees in Tschechien“ ist organisiert von der Dělnická strana sociální spravedlnosti (DSSS, Arbeiterpartei der Sozialen Gerechtigkeit) und ihrer Jugendorganisation Dělnická mládež (Arbeiterjugend). Hauptorganisator ist Erik Lamprecht, Vize-Vorsitzender der Partei und Vorsitzender ihrer Jugendorganisation.
Erik Lamprecht ist langjährig aktiver Neonazi und zweitwichtigste Verbindung zwischen der „Arbeiter Partei“ und der deutschen Neonaziszene. Die Arbeiterpartei versucht sich mit allen Mitteln zu etablieren. Am 16. Juli beteiligte sich eine Delegation der Partei (Vorsitzender Vandas, Vize-Vorsitzende Štěpánek und Lamprecht, Parteimitglied Libor Sojka) an einem Treffen der Allianz fuer Frieden und Freiheit (APF) im Europaparlament in Bruessel. Die Arbeiterpartei wurde an diesem Tag mit den Stimmen aller Mitglieder offiziell in die Allianz aufgenommen. Erik Lamprecht bekam die Chance, Größen der internationalen Neonaziszene wie Udo Voigt (NPD), Nick Griffin (Vorsitzender der British National Party), Georgios Epitideios (Mitglied im Europaparlament für die griechische Neonazipartei Golden Dawn), Roberto Fiore (Vorsitzender der APF und Vorsitzender der italienischen Forza Nuova), Jens Pühse (Generalsekretär der APF), Daniel Carlsen (Vorsitzender der Danskernes Parti) und vielen anderen die Hand zu schütteln.

Begleitet wird die Neonazi-Demonstration am 26. Juni in Brno von einem kulturellen Event ,wie es fast immer Teil größerer Events der Arbeiterpartei ist. Am gleichen Tag findet im Autohaus Obora ein bereits seit langem geplantes Nationalsozialistisches Black Metal Festival, das Hell Fast Attack, statt. Wir haben vor kurzem einen ganzen Artikel über
das Festival geschrieben. Headliner des Festivals ist die bekannte NSBM Band Nokturnal Mortum aus der Ukraine,
die oft auf Veranstaltungen des paramilitärischen „Rechten Sektors“ spielt und auch Neonazis und ultranationalistische Freiwillige unterstützt, die Seite an Seite mit pro-russischen Separatisten in der Ostukraine kämpfen.
MigrantInnen fliehen aus ihren Ländern vor Krieg und Armut. Nationalistischer, religiöser oder ethnischer Hass, politische Machtkämpfe, Ressourcenkriege oder schlicht Armut sind die Gründe die sie von zuhause „wegjagen“. Es gibt keinen einzigen Grund, den Faschisten und Nazis zuzuhören. Ihre „Lösungen“ haben immer Zerstörung
und Verzweiflung gebracht. Ihr mythisches Konstrukt einer vereinten Nation, entweder basierend auf Kultur oder Rasse, und ihr Mangel an Empathie haben immer eine ganz grundsätzliche Tatsache übersehen – die Diversität der Menschheit. Und wir sollten die Nazis nicht fürchten. Ganz im Gegenteil, es gibt viele Gründe, sich ihnen entgegenzustellen, wenn sie meinen, eine soziale Situation entwickle sich zu ihren Gunsten und dass sie die Straße nach langer Zeit zurückerobern könnten.
